NYFW SP11: Jill Stuart

Having to troop it to Lincoln Center twice a day is taking its toll on me. Am I the only one who misses Bryant?

After a very long F.N.O the last thing that I wanted to do was get up, get ready and schlep to the upper west side. Since there was No way that I'd miss one of Jill Stuart's show stoppers, I decided to  suck it up & suck it in.

When I got there I saw the press all over Nigel Barker but, as soon a Kim & Kourtney Kardashion arrived they bailed on Barker and made a B-Line for the sexy sisters. Other celebs included Jessica Szohr, Taryn Manning, Miss Jay Alexander and the always stylish Tinsley Mortimer.

Chic Chic Chic - Jill Stuart outdid herself this season! I love how even with silk rosettes and loads of glittery crystals everywhere her clothing, be it the cut or the fit, still contains an edge. Like many Spring 2011 collections that I've seen - Jill opted for cream, nude, black, khaki and a luxurious navy. Okay so maybe I’m just biased but, I was excited to see how much suede (more importantly, my suede) she used in this collection-the nude dress and that gorge navy skirt looked really rich.

Ladylike-yet-youthful, timeless & classy - Audrey Hepburn would be proud.
LOVE.

  2. I love it! It's so wearable and you're right... there is still an edge. I have personally, sold her team heaps of vintage so it's nice to see it translated in such a clean, modern way! KUDOS!
