B.E.S. Friends

My posse and I gathered at our new fav spot- B.E.S. (Boutique Eat Shop) in Chelsea.  B.E.S.'s whole vibe is geared toward the creative crowd, even their mantra is "by artist for artist".

From the moment that I got out of the cab, I could tell just by looking at the people smoking and bullshitting outside- this was going to be my kind of joint

There wasn't an ounce of pretension, just a mixture of fashionable pretty gay boys, my table of gorgeous straight ones and a bevy of beautiful well dressed women. The energy was electric and the smiles were contagious.

From the quilted tufted wooden bar created by Tom Beale to the needle point bathroom doors designed by erotica artist Maria Pineres -this swanky spot is just cool.

See that chandelier? It's made of sake bottles and vintage wine jugs. Love!!!

The food was de-lish, especially the chocolate cake- it was better then sex (at least the kind I've been having lately.) The Chef, Charles Cho promises excitement with a multitude of surprise tastes that are really subtle and balanced.

The DJ was spinning  Tao-ish vocal house & and MJ remixes. After 3 (or five) glasses of pomegranate sangria and a few shots of tequila everyone was dancing , laughing and trying on Carolina's hair- I'm still thinking about going dark brown.

We got to chill in an awesome environment with an ambiance that reminded me of Norwood, surrounded by old friends and some new ones.  -We shut the place down.

But... the night wasn't over yet- I was, after all with the Comfort boys who "wanted one more drink". -We hit up Avenue where we shook our asses to Biggie and finished the night off with a shot of Patron.

Great night, Great energy, Great Friends- But that's just how we roll.
